Follow up from our visit from Education Scotland
Following on from our visit from Amy and Stuart on 31st January, Amy has been in touch with this message:
I wanted to contact you to say a huge thank you for Friday. We gained many very useful insights and gathered a lot of very useful evidence as we continue to explore the current Health and Wellbeing Curriculum offer and consider what a future curriculum could look like.
Your pupils were magnificent. Every single pupil shared something valuable with us and their views have been noted and matter. Please let them know that. The children were welcoming and made our task extremely easy.
The staff members gave us their time so generously and again, we gained so many valuable insights from them. This visit is an important part of our information gathering phase of the curriculum improvement cycle, so again, I would like to say thank you for accommodating us.

YesFest 2025
As I explained last week, this event takes place on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th June in Lancashire and we have been invited to take 6 pupils from P5 and P6 across our two schools to be the first pupils representing Scotland. We have had six expressions of interest and so every pupil who would like to come can do so! More details will follow about this very great adventure soon.
Parents Evenings
After the holiday Mrs Briggs will be sending our appointment slots for our Parents’ Evenings that take place on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th February. You will be able to attend in person in school or via a phone call or Google Meet.
If you cannot make a specific time between 3.30pm and 5pm on either of these days, please email enquiries-tayvallich@argyll-bute.gov.uk by the end of school on Tuesday 18th February.
