Important Information:
Hope Spot- Wednesday 27th May
P.1-4 had a fantastic time swimming with Lyndsay from Seatrek, building confidence in the water and having lots of fun along the way.
While P.1-4 were busy in the water P.5-7 took part in an art workshop with artist Georgia Crook. Both of these activities were organised for us by the Argyll Hope Spot and we’re extremely grateful. The weather was definitely on our side, making it the perfect day for outdoor activities.
We took lots of pictures so look out for those next week!
P.7 Residential Monday 1st – Wednesday 3rd June
We wish our P7s and Ms MacKinnon a wonderful few days in Arran on the residential. We look forward to hearing all about it on their return!
P.7 Transition Days
Primary 7 pupils will be attending the High School on Tuesday the 9th and Wednesday the 10th of June and Monday the 15th and Tuesday the 16th of June.
Great Athlete Visit at Glassary Primary School 8th June
Letters went home today about this next event, please check bags for EV5s which should be returned by Thursday 4th June. Children should arrive wearing their P.E kit and outdoor clothing appropriate for the weather, as all of our activities will be outside. A packed lunch will be required, this can be provided from home or ordered on ipayimpact – please update online by Tuesday 2nd June. We have asked that families look at car sharing to travel to and from Glassary and have staggered the drop off and collection times to accommodate this. If you use school transport we’ll be in touch at the start of the week to arrange. Please remember this is a sponsored event – we hope the sponsors are going well!
Pupil Reports
We’re currently working on our next Pupil reports, which will be issued week beginning 22nd June.
Prepare for all weathers
We really enjoyed spending more time outside last week in the glorious sunshine. Please make sure that your child comes to school dressed ready for all aspects of the wonderful Argyll weather. In the warmer months they should bring with them a sun hat and sun cream. Please also make sure that they bring a suitable water bottle to school. We do like to go out and about when we can and it helps if everyone is prepared.
