Welcome Back August 2026

back to school

Hello Everybody,

We hope you’ve all had a fantastic summer break.

Please find some information and reminders below ahead of our return:

Ipayimpact and New Lunch Menu:

Please remember to make your lunch choices ahead of Monday. There is a new menu – which we will send paper copies of home on Monday, but you can also take a look below:

Primary Menu 3 choice 2026

Ipayimpact has been updated to the new menu, so you can also see it there.

Timetable:

New term, new timetable! We are pleased to attach our timetable for 2026-2027 below:

There are some changes to last year’s format. This year we have our core subjects across two classes and will have our joint learning every afternoon. We think this new pattern will work really well for everyone and we can’t wait to get started.

What you will need:

Indoor Shoes – please remember to bring a pair of clean shoes to wear indoors and keep in school. These were all sent home at the end of last term so will need to come back.

Water Bottle – each child should bring their own bottle filled with water every day – this can be topped up at school at any point.

Snacks – we have opportunity for a snack in the morning and afternoon. Therefore please bring 2 healthy snacks to enjoy each day.

Clothing appropriate for the weather – we hope that the sun will keep shining for a while longer so please continue to send a sun hat and sun cream in bags. Equally, please also bring a jacket as the weather can change quickly in Argyll! A reminder that appropriate footwear should be worn every day.

Also – as you will see from the above timetable PE is now on a Monday and a Thursday. On these days, please try to send your child in or with trainers. PE is often outside so indoors can’t be used.

On a Wednesday we will have regular outdoor learning sessions in the afternoon – please come equipped with appropriate footwear and outdoor clothing for any weather.

See you Monday:

We are looking forward to having you all back on Monday and hearing all about your holidays. We are particularly looking forward to welcoming new ELC pupils and staff as we re-open our Pre-School!

As always, we love to hear from you and want to support your young person as best we can. If you wish to share any updates or feel there’s anything you’d like us to know about then please get in touch:
