Children in Need Coffee Afternoon
We would like to invite you to our Children in Need coffee afternoon ran by our very own Food Club on Friday 14th November at 2.30-3.15. There will be nibbles, coffee and tea and we welcome you to join us in our annual Duck Race! We ask that your child(ren) come to school in school uniform for the purposes of school photographs but that they bring a change of non-school uniform to change into for the rest of the school day. We only ask that, if you have the means to do so, you provide a small donation to our just giving page. Our target this year is £100.

School Photographs
School photographs are on Friday 14th November at 9.30. Please send your child(ren) dressed in usual school uniform with a change of clothing in their bags for the Children in Need Event.
Remembrance Day
Poppies are now available for purchase in the Village shop or at school. If you wish you can send your child(ren) with a donation to buy a poppy in school next week.
Book Week Scotland
Week beginning 17th November is Book Week Scotland. Book week is about bringing people of all ages together to share the joy of reading. Throughout the week we will be taking part in related events and activities. However, we would love to invite you along to join in with our usual timetabled reading sessions. Please get in touch if you are available to come along and read with our P1-4 or P5-7 between 1.15-1.45 on Monday and Tuesday. If you can’t make these dates but would still like to join, please let us know.
Reports
School reports will be issued week beginning 17th November so keep an eye out for these in school bags.
Christmas Play
Scripts will soon be sent home- please help your young person learn their lines for the upcoming play. There will be time in class for them to practice but extra support at home would be very helpful. Information about the school play will follow shortly.
