We have recently added two new events – a workshop in Oban on “Our World From Outer Space” in Oban on November 20th and workshops in school with the Glasgow Science Centre on December 4th.
Please note also that this year’s festive showcase in school will take place on the afternoon of Tuesday 17th November.
Power Outage
We have been advised that there will be no power in Tayvallich on Thursday 5th December. We will therefore arrange transport to bring the Tayvallich pupils and staff to Glassary Primary School and we will arrange a joint learning day relating to the Argyll Hope Spot and the Sense of Place workshops that took place last session. More information to follow.
Children in Need
As you know, we will once again be supporting BBC Children in Need Day this year on Friday 15th November and seeing whether we can break our previous fundraising records.
- Pupils are welcome to wear pyjamas or spotty clothes to school on Friday
- Pupils are welcome to bring a small teddy to school on Friday
Games and activities will also take place in classes.
If you would like to make a donation, it could not be simpler – just go to the link which we will issue next Friday.
We will not be accepting cash in school again this year so please make a donation using this link instead.
