Week ending 24.1.25 and closure information

Storm Story

Good morning

I hope everyone is safe and cosy.

Today’s update is as reminder of activities that you may wish to do at home today. We sent this as an email last night but you probably received quite a few different communications so I thought I would share it again:

Dear Parents

We are very disappointed that school is closed tomorrow as we love spending time with the children but we need to make sure that everyone is safe! For you, this will be an extra special Fabulous Family Friday!

In order to support you with home learning, I hope you will find the information below useful. Please remember that there is no expectation that children access their learning in the same way that they do in school, or that you need to be teachers. We all remember the challenges of lockdown learning! If you would like to follow the structure below, it may help you. You can use the link  below to help you find activities for each part of the day but may also want to read books/use CBBC to help you find things to talk and learn about. Reading a book with your child is also one of the most wonderful things you can do to support learning.

Maybe you and your child could drop me an email at the end of the day tomorrow to tell me all about what you have done and what you have learned.

You can also find a really lovely social story here, shared by another school, which may help your child to feel safe and reduce anxiety around the change in routine.
