It has been wonderful to have the children back in school this week and hear about what they got up to in the holidays. While they had an extra day off on Monday, staff were in learning all about how to keep children and the adults who look after them safe, dyslexia, and a whole range of other topics that individual staff members had identified as priority for their professional learning.
Clubs
Staff have been running amazing lunchtime clubs again this week. Can you ask your child to explain the one that the photo with this bulletin is about?
Unavoidable building closure
On Wednesday 5th March, we cannot use the school building due to an unavoidable power outage and the fact that SSE cannot provide us with a generator to enable us to open the school safely.
We will therefore be relocating to Glassary Primary School for another fantastic joint learning day, which will build on our learning for sustainability/Hope Spot project.
You will receive information about transport and lunches from early next week
Celebration event
We hope to see as many of you as possible next week at the Planet Youth volunteer celebration event next Tuesday where we will celebrate all the amazing groups who provide opportunities for our children in our community:
Parents’ Evenings
We also look forward to seeing you next Wednesday or Thursday next week at your allocated appointment, where we will all celebrate the progress that your child has been making in learning this year.
