Athlete Visit
Please note that our Athlete visit at Glassary Primary School can no longer happen on 2nd April, however we’re pleased to share that we have successfully secured the date of Monday 8th June. Many thanks to those of you who replied to our email asking for your help in facilitating this, it gave us sufficient feedback for this to go ahead. There will be more correspondence to follow.
P4-7 Rugby
P4-7 Rugby will be continuing in the new term with Arran Martin every Thursday. Please continue to ensure that your child(ren) come to school wearing their rugby kit and sensible trainers. Bring school uniform to change into after. We suggest packing pants, socks and hoodies just in case, as we will be outside as much as possible. The pupils will be playing non-contact, but they are still likely to get muddy.

Seachdain na Gàidhlig (World Gaelic Week)
Fàilte gu Cluich is Cànan! We are delighted to share that Ms. MacKinnon will be hosting a school and community event in celebration of Seachdain na Gàidhlig (World Gaelic Week). The event, titled, “Cluich is Cànan!” (Play and Language), will take place on Friday, 27 February at 2:00 PM in Tayvallich Village Hall. Led by our students, this gathering offers an excellent opportunity for parents, families, and the wider Tayvallich community to engage with Gaelic language and culture. Whether you are fluent in Gaelic or completely new to it, we warmly invite you to join us for an afternoon of games, music, poetry, and refreshments (including tea, coffee, and cakes).
This event is made possible through funding from World Gaelic Week’s Small Grants Fund, with support from Bòrd na Gàidhlig. We thank Ms. MacKinnon for all her hard work and effort with this, and we look forward to seeing as many of you as possible there.
