Message from the Parent Council
Hello, we are currently looking for new members!
Numbers have recently declined, and we have some roles to fill. We would love more parents and carers to join us. It is not a huge commitment but it makes a great difference to our children’s school experience. We meet roughly only once a term with the Head Teacher and staff to discuss school improvement priorities, school trips, the curriculum and other key areas. We arrange parties for the children at Halloween and Christmas and fundraise to help school pay for their trips and resources. By joining, you will play an important role in supporting the school and helping to shape the best outcomes for all our child (ren).

Consents for Film Club – Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone
For those who have child (ren) in Film Club you will have received a film permission request, please reply to the email before Wednesday 3rd September, thank you.
It is not too late to join, if your child has not attended film club before, they can join now, just let us know and we will send the permission request to you.
Flu Vaccines
Thank you for handing in the permissions for the flu vaccination. The date for the diary- Wednesday 29th October. We will send out a reminder nearer the time.
Chanter
Stuart Liddell will be returning next week on Thursday 4th September. Please remember chanters. If your child is in P5, 6 or 7 and they would like to join chanter please email Mrs. Briggs at enquiries.
