Important Information:
School Trip-Glasgow Science Centre
As you know we are due to have our trip to the Glasgow Science Centre on Wednesday 5th November. You will be receiving permission slips on Monday so keep an eye out for them in school bags, please return at your earliest convenience.

New Menu
Our new menu starts on Monday and this will be updated on iPay. You will be receiving a physical copy on Monday, however in the meantime please see below a digital version.

Child Smile
Child Smile will be paying us a visit this week and we look forward to showing them how good we are at brushing our teeth.

Flu Vaccine
For those who opted in to having the flu vaccine this will be happening on Wednesday the 29th.

Parties
The following events have been added to the calendar this week:
-The Parent Council Halloween Party at the Village Hall: Sunday 2nd November 4-6pm
-The Parent Council Christmas Party at the Village Hall: Sunday 14th December 4-6pm

Both of the above are organised by the parent council but there will be lots of volunteers needed to help on the day – please reach out if you can offer a hand

Additionally, we will be having an in-school Halloween party as well as themed learning on Friday the 31st of October. We encourage pupils to dress up in a school appropriate costume of their choice. We ask that you refrain from spending money on your outfit and encourage reusing a costume you already have. You will be receiving an email regarding permission for party treats at the beginning of next week.

This Week’s News
We have had a full first week back at Tayvallich Primary School. Lots of learning- including a guest! Clubs are due to start again on Monday and we are excited to hear what ideas our pupils have for this term. Check out this space for the next instalment of Tayvallich Headquarters…we’ll be starting with a spooky version!
