SUMMARY:Sense of Place Residency - P 5 to 7
DESCRIPTION:We have organised a very exciting opportunity for our Primary 5 to 7 classes to learn together about the local environment and wildlife on Monday 20th and Tuesday 21st May. This is a joint venture involving our schools and Hope Spot which is a community-led celebration of this part of Scotland’s world-class natural riches. Over the two days\, pupils will work with Pete Creech from Heart of Argyll Nature\, Dan Coyle\, local swimming and Gaelic tutor and a local artist on activities that will raise awareness and understanding of the very special environment\, community and biodiversity that surrounds us. SUMMARY:Parent Council Meeting
DESCRIPTION:All welcome. \nAs with every parent council meeting\, every parent\, member of staff and members of the community are welcome to attend – these meetings are not just for committee members – and we benefit greatly from all input. \nA Parent Council meeting can be a chance to hear an update from the head teacher and discuss latest and upcoming changes at the school (for example\, staffing) and raise any questions and concerns. Find out how our most recent fundraising has gone and what we’ve got planned for the future and listen and contribute to important discussions around our school and the school experience. \nEqually we would love some new members to join the team – so if you fancy a stint on the Parent Council then please have a chat with one of our current members.
